Our Process

Step 1

Consultation

For Yataghan’s prospective clients, this phase is always free. We look at this phase to get to know you, determine your project requirements, and lay the groundwork for a productive, open relationship. Depending on your location and availability, we consult with you either at your workplace or over the phone. During this phase, you will receive a free system analysis so we can get a better understanding of your current infrastructure.

Step 2

Discovery, Analysis and Planning

A critical step in planning any type of IT transformationis to start with a clear understanding of your organizations current environment This means having a full list of physical and virtual assets and relationships whether they be infrastructure or application specific. Our YNI Manager will provide you with full visibility into your environment in an interactive display so you can better understand all the complexities and dependencies. These data sources can include application lists, reports from VM, database, or storage environments, auto-discovery tools or asset management software. A complete understanding of the interdependencies between applications, servers, and other infrastructure is essential to ensure all solutions integrate seamlessly after implementation.

YNI Manager’s analysis module helps project managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) visualize these interdependencies and develop logical solutions that should be implemented/executed together. By carefully planning all steps / events to this level, sequence and dependency errors are virtually eliminated.

Step 3

Schedule Timelines

A YNI Manager and the client discuss project timelines/completion deadlines to align all the resources available and set appropriate deliverables.

Step 4

Statement of Work

YNI Manager will provide a narrative description of the required work. It will stipulate the deliverables or services required to fulfill the contract, and it defines the task to be accomplished or services to be delivered in clear, concise and meaningful terms.

Step 5

Client Approval

Once SOW (statement of work) is approved and signed, the client issues a P.O (purchase order) to YNI for the solution and/or services to be rendered.

Step 6

Deployment

  1. Pre-Deployment Services
    Pre-deployment activities establish clear objectives and validate that the solution design is functional and viable within your environment and interoperable with other business components.
  2. Deployment Services
    Significant resources are needed to bring complex, multi-site projects to completion, once underway. From kick off to cutover, your YNI team coordinates tasks, communicates progress, and mitigates the risks of cost overruns, scheduling delays, and extended periods of downtime.
  3. Post-Deployment Services: Test and Evaluate
    Once a solution is implemented, application and integration testing and pre-production stress testing can help assure your solution performs as designed.
Step 7

Training

YNI Manager and/or Senior Technical Associate offer users onsite training as well as provides detailed Build Documents as an ongoing reference. Expanding users’ knowledge of capabilities helps assure solutions are used as planned.

Step 8

Client Sign-off

YNI Manager will meet with the clients to validate that all deliverables are in met as per the SOW (statement of agreement) and P.O. (purchase order)

Step 9

Ongoing Support

The entire YNI is available for any level of support required as per SOW and PO. YNI will me more than happy to provide all levels of support as required.
